Winter Shipping Update

Temps in Wisconsin this year still remain MUCH to cold for safe shipping (yesterday’s night time temps in the area hit -17). Hopefully things warm up in February and I can sneak a few boxes out to those of you who have been patiently waiting. I know it’s not fun to have to wait but unless the lows are at or above 20 degrees chances are you will have a box of very cold water with dead fish. And it’s a lot less fun to pay for shipping on dead fish then it is to have to wait a few weeks.

The good news is that without spending time on shipping I’ve had more time available to increase feeding as well as get to water changes a little more often so the fish you are waiting on should be in great condition when I am able to start shipping again.

Door to door shipping (USPS, etc.) requires warmer temps for safe transit then shipping airport to airport with Southwest airlines. So if you live in an area that Southwest airlines flies into please consider having me send your orders that way, especially while temps remain on the cold side.
